1.) Competition is designed for students in French levels I and II
Rules for Culural Quiz Bee
1.) Competition is designed for students in French levels III of higher
1.) Questions will be multiple choice and presented one at a time to assembled contestants.
2.) Students will read the question and write their answers on their answer card. Questions have varying point values that reflect the difficulty of the question
3.) Once the time limit per question (30 sec - 2mins) has expired. Students will put their pencils down and prepare to deliver their answers audibly
4.) The MC will ask each student to deliver their answer audibly and the MC will record the accuracy of that answer on his or her contest card
5.) At the conclusion of all questions, the contestant with the greatest number of points will be declared the winner. Winning contestant answer card will be checked against the MC contest card to ensure that no answers were changed during audible answering
6.) Questions will be created from French and Francophone culture and history in general.
**The New Orleans conference will include questions about New Orleans history and culture from its founding to the contemporary period
